SO I HAVE OILY SKIN AND I PUT ON MY ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION AND THEN I PUT POWDER ON TOP OF THAT AND THEN USE BRONZER AND BY THE END OF THE DAY ALL OF MY MAKEUP IS GONE .





-DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD PRIMER OR ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP MY OILY SKIN AND KEEP MY MAKEUP ON ALL DAY





-ALSO WHAT ABOUT A FIXER OR SOMETHING??

You can try Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer- they have different types for different types of skin. You can find it at Sephora for $36.





And MAC has Prep + Prime Skin, which is good for absorbing oil at $23-28 (depending if you want SPF).





For drugstore brands, Rimmel London has one called Fix %26amp; Perfect Primer which is about $30 less than Smashbox but you don't get as much product and it's not very good for oily skin.
I have never heard of a ';fixer'; but philosophy makes a good primer called Never Let Them See You Shine that goes on under makeup. With any primer make sure to let it sit for 2 minutes before applying makeup. Also, are you using the Double Wear powder foundation because that would work better than the liquid for controlling shine.
i work for clinique and we have a really good gel that goes on under your makeup to control the oil, its called dramatically different gel, and also i would suggest you switch makeups because me being in the makeup industry i know that the double wear is made for all types of skins and you need one that is exactly for oily skin, i would suggest clinique's superfit, not only is it for oily skin but it last all day long and it has a pretty good coverage, go by your local clinique counter and have them match you and get a sample and try it!!
If you have oily skin putting lots of make up powder, bronzer all over your face is only going to make it worse. The oil on your face soaks up your make up, as well as helps it ';slide'; off your face. Find a base foundation made for oily skin, and try not wearing anything else. I would also suggest you look for some kind of night time cleansing treatment to help clear your skin. That will help with the make too. Good Luck!!
Get yourself an oil free moisturiser!


Boots do a fab one in a purple bottle, use this before you put your base on.


Laura Mercier Oil-Free Foundation Primer... I haven't tried it, but I have combo skin, and the regular one worked wonders... You could also maybe try Bare Escentuals Skin Rev-er Upper... It's a primer/moisturizer in one... I used it a few times, and it was awesome! Knocks the oil right out! Not much help, but I hope someone else can offer a good recommendation!
i have oily skin as well! here is my regimen:





-cetaphil facial cleanser


-biore toner


-clean and clear oil free moisturizer w/ salic acid


-smashbox green primer


-Bare Minerals face makeup (concealer, foundation, veil)





my face stays pretty oil free with this routine, the best i have gotten it to stay anyway!

the best method you could do is..


*1st of all,going to bed whether its night or day,Just wash your face smoothly with pears soap(its a soap named as';PEARS';.this soap is especially for oily skin to make skin look naturally beautiful)


,,and don't put anything over aft ayou washed it up,,,pears soap is found everywhere..its being 200 years.this soap is being used!!..

*2nd Ly,don't eat oily food.


*3rd drink too much water,,sciencitifically,2 litres of water each day is more good for our skin!!so drink much water okay!


*4th don't eat meat too much...once or twice a week!!


5th see websites if it doesnot works!!

I have oily skin as well, a great thing to do is to mask 3 times a week, i use etre dead sea mask. daily wash is aveeno clear complexion foam...use oil free moisturizer, even oily skin needs to be moisturized, skin too dry wrinkles early...then i use bare minerals foundation and mineral veil this will give you a flawless, airbrushed look all day....I purchase my bare minerals from ebay (cheaper)
for a fixer try clean and clear oil absorbing sheets


they instantly removes excess oil and wont smudge makeup


they are little blue sheets and all you have to do is wipe it on your face and it will absorb all of the excess oil
