You should always moisturize. Try using moisturizers that are oil free. You can always use a mattifier after putting on your moisturizer. I also have oily skin and have started using Mary Kay products. I am pretty satisfied with their products (most of all, they don't conduct animal testing). But their Timewise Oil free moisturizer and oil mattifier work well for me.
Hope this helps. . . .Should someone with oily skin moisturize?
everyone needs a moisturizer. those with oily or combination skin should use a oil free one. u can also apply honey on ur skin , its a great natural moiturizer and if u have oily skin, add a few drops of lemon juice to it.
Not unless it's a skin moisterizer that has no oil in it, such as Clean and Clear moisterizers.
Wash your face frequently with cold water and use a face pack of grated apple. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for oily skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/oilyskin.htm… .
I have oily skin as well but I find that skipping on the moisturizers just makes it worse. I keep my skin clean and use an oil-free or “for oily skin” moisturizer. Olay for oily skin is my favorite.
Absolutely! You will appreciate it when you are older!
yes...but I'd stay away from acidic ones and the benzoyl peroxide ones, you will end up with oily, irritated, red skin, instead of just oily!
My brother in law has realy oily skin and he uses the same thing I do. Arbonne's ';Intelligence'; cleansing gel. It washes off the oil, but doesn't dry out your skin.
All of Arbonne's products are botanically based, and the 'Intelligence' line is self-adjusting for diffent skin types.
My daughter uses the whole 5 step skin care system.
You'd like that. I have samples available if you want to try some. e-mail me.
yes. as starter try some aloe vera gel u can find at the drugstore. its inexpensive and it wont shock ur system.
yes your should... just use an oil-free/fragrance free moisturizer.
No. If you feel that you have dryness, you probably have combination skin. Everyone I know that truly has oily skin are trying to give it away. It could be that winter is drying you out.
Try a facial with a small amount of glycolic or alphahydroxy acid. I have combination and sensitive skin. I use a product called M.D. Forte. Its truly for all skin types because it is so gentle.
Below is a site where I order that and other great skin care products.
OF COURSE!! Everyone needs to moisturize their skin. Your skin is oily because of the lack of moisture. Believe me, I could had an oil well on my face b/c i didnt moisturize. Try using Biore Shiine Control Cream Cleanser in the morning and the foaming cleanser at nite. After everytime you wash it, use Biore shine control moisturizer. Trust me, IT WORKS!!
Yes,why not! But oil free moisturiser only.
use one with salyic acid (acne mdication)
like Neutrogena or clean and clear
No!!It will make your skin more oily and then maybe it will start to break out!!
hi there hun im in the same boat as you i have very oily skin especially my t zone. im a trained beauty technition and whilst in training was told no matter what skin type you have wether it be dry, oily or flaky you need to mousturise. the trick was finding the right mousturiser for you, dont buy one that is for dry skin it will do more harm than good. you need to get a regime fo your face, for eg cleance, tone and then mousturise and i like to give my face, gentle facial scrubs and peels 3 nights a week.
in the winter especiallly your skin needs that extra tlc so when you next go out shopping pop in to the beauty shop and ask for help if you need it. im sure the shop assistans will help you to pick the right mousturiser for oily skin . oily skin is not so bad, my biigest problem is big pores, i find that cold water does the trick for that
YES go to www.marykay .com or canada www.marykay.ca if you are using a cleanser for oily shin you arestripping your skin so you need add mositure back but not as much as someone with dry skin be careful what you used though if it has to much mositure you will get even more oily skin i hope this helps
must moisturize. but with one that control oil of ur face.(these r available)
It depends... I assume you are talking about oily skin on your face... Moisturizing with noncomedogenic products (ones that do not clog pores) is best. Cetaphil, Aveeno, and Dove have some great moisturizers that do not make you feel ';greasy';....
