Natural mineral makeup in particular contains skin-enhancing ingredients and is full of vitamins that can actually improve the complexion. Still, there are many mineral makeup brands that can help absorb excess oil and provide a sleek and flawless finish for those with oily skin. If you're looking for a new makeup brand that suits your skin's condition and can actually control shine and breakouts, here are few high quality products and trusted brands to choose from:

L'Oreal Mineral Makeup for Oily Skin

The L'Oreal Bare natural makeup line is a fairly new collection that's available in a variety of shades. It comes with a handy brush applicator that delivers the foundation right from the brush; this means you don't have to purchase brushes separately, and can just put the plastic lid on top after use. The mineral makeup contains SPF 19 sunscreen, and the high concentration of talc easily absorbs excess oil on the skin's surface for a flawless finish.

Youngblood Mineral Makeup for Oily Skin

Youngblood cosmetics are an independent makeup line that specialize in high quality makeup for all skin types. The Natural Mineral Foundation is a great choice for oily skin since its non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), and provides long-lasting coverage for even the most stressful days. The mineral mixture gives off a translucent glow which can be especially beneficial for a dull complexiGood brand of makeup for oily skin?
I use Revlon Colourstay for Oily Skin foundation. It never brings my spots out and has reduced them.

You can get water based foundation aswell. There is a brand that offers a whole range of 'Pure' make-up. This is best for oily skin and you can get it in most pharmacies.

Hope these help (: x
Josie,

Before any makeup goes on you need to address the oily skin issue. Like you I have oily skin, this is what I use and do: I use Coonobabe's Pepino cleanser, followed by their Manzanillo toner. Wash with cleanser, pat dry with clean towel, then apply toner and allow to air dry. I find that a cleanser/toner combo has the best effect against oily skin. You may need to do this on hot and humid days maybe twice. But it's worth it, I have clean to the touch skin.

Second, if you use foundation I suggest you look at their savila base foundation made specifically for oily skin. If you use blush just use a hint of tint. It's ok to splurge on the lipsticks/glosses, and eyeshadows since you don't get acne in those areas. Note: try their eyeNV, it is excellent. http://www.coonobabe.com

This company is good, they ship 4 free all orders. So I hope this helps you.
im 16 with oily skin and i used to have the same problem. i use revlon colourstay liquid for oily/combination skin. its amazing, it doesnt shine and it stays on for hours. it also has full coverage and isnt cake like. use it with a translucent loose powder over the top to stop it sliding off with oil and coming off during the day.

hope this helps.

Hope this helps you . Thank you.
Bare Minerals Matte foundation would be great for you! It gives your skin a smooth, matte look and improves your skin.
mineral makeup is good lolz
LA minerals (laminerals.com) %26amp; silk naturals (silknaturals.com)...

Try them both, they have oil controlling powder as well. The samples are like $1 or so and worth every penny if you find something that works. Hope this helps!!!!

If you don't want ';buildable'; coverage (meaning you need to add at least two to three layers (check out youtube applying mineral foundation %26amp; you'll understand what I'm talking about) it is very important to use a dense brush like a flat top kabuki or the mineral brush offered by la minerals... If you love to control your coverage and don't mind layering it on then go for the kabuki and buff away!

I have acne (adult so it's worse) and I was recommended the la minerals, they even have a celebrity face powder that suppose to help but the customer service person told me to wait and see if the mineral foundation does the trick as it cleared her skin without having to add the celebrity face. The prices are great, much cheaper than bm and sheer cover (which didn't work for me AND made me itch... looking back I probably needed to ';build'; the coverage and didn't realize it, but it made me itch like crazy so I stopped using it).
