I'm 14 and have had TERRIBLE acne for years. Not hamburger face type acne, but an incredible amount of pimples on my forehead, chin and around my temples. I have really oily skin, and I mean REALLY oily. I also have acne on my chest and a bit on my back. Ickk. Can someone tell me about an oil-free medication (non-prescription) for this? I've tried proactive, and Neutrogena oil -free acne cleanser. I've tried Clean %26amp; Clear but found that it made my skin too greasy.Acne help for oily skin?
Proactive didn't work?? Wow, that would have been my first choice. Do you wash your face EVERYDAY? Morning and night? You need to use a scrub a couple times a week and a daily cleanser. Consistency is important.Acne help for oily skin?
I have oily skin like yours which developed enlarged pores which is very common with this skin type. Anyway, back to the question, I recommend not using any creams because Ive tried and it never went away until I implemented my mums suggestion and used a natural product known as lemons. The first time I used it my acne was completely gone. Also, try to cut down o junk food especially chocolate if you are having any.
Here are some tips for getting rid of them but not really treatments. But they do help in not making them come as often just mainly only the barely noticeable ones around that time of month. Anyways drink loads and loads of water, exercise and cut out most junk food! Cut out those chips and cupcakes and cookies and doughnuts. They're ok every once in aw while but if you want something for a snack go with fresh fruit, a fruit roll up or chex mix haha.
Hope that helps :))

I hope this helps!
Have a great day!
Well, hate to sound like a shill (check my Q%26amp;A, I'm not), but we're dropping names, so...
I thrive on the Cetaphil line of products. They make a face wash and body wash. The feeling of stepping out of the shower aftewards is indescribable, too. Everyone is different, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Usually available wherever that other stuff you mentioned is, Neutrogena, etc.
Also, you can talk to your family doctor or a dermatologist. Yes there are prescription products, yes, they normally do make a big difference after a while. From what it sounds like, that's probably a good idea too. Hope things clear up for ya!
Then your best bet is to ask your doctor to give you something to help with that. I had acne too but I asked my doctor and the stuff she prescribed me helped!
Fry it! joke haha.
i think you should avoid sweaty activities? haha
I don't know about medication, but I noticed that if you gently rub a slice or two of cucumber over your face about three times a day, it cuts down on the oil as well as healing acne. It's really drying though, and I mean REALLY drying, but I guess that's exactly what you need. You just need to actually stick with it for a while.
No product is needed.
Just wash you're face three times daily and you'll notice the difference in about a month.
Use some purifying wipes and that should clear up the excess oil, dirt, impurities and other blemish-causing factors.
