A few question about oily skin and winter?

I have oily skin...it only started getting oily since past 2 and a half years...I'm turning 20 soon...Now that it is winter, I was wondering -

1) Will using moisturizer effect the oilyness and make it increase as summer comes? My skin gets dry and definitely irritated if I don't put moisturizer...I actually have this red dry spot on my face and isn't really going away...

2) Does the coldness and wind from winter weather strip your skin of it's (natural) moisture?

3) Is the oilyness an age thing that will go away eventually?

4) What are you skin experiences?

Thanks sooo much for answers =)A few question about oily skin and winter?
use oil free moisturizer.A few question about oily skin and winter?
1. Sleep Early as Early as 9:30

2. Don't get too stressed

3. If you want to use moisturizers us Homeopathic(Herbal/Natural) ones although there not cheap though but it is worth it.

P.S. : some are selling fake moisturizers their saying it's herbal but it's actually not so be careful.......
1. No skin is affected by the weather and you should treat it accordingly.

2. Yes it does! Mine gets dry and flaky

3. In general, No. Yours might become less oily once you leave your teen years (I know you're 20 but some people are still growing into their early 20s) If your oily skin isn't puberty related, then yes, most likely you'll have it for quite some time. Don't worry though, because it will keep you looking younger then all your friends.

4. I used to have very oily skin, now its combination. I have to give credit to how clear it is to birth control pills, but the extra oil has most definitely kept the wrinkles away :)

5. If the extra oil doesn't make you break out then I'm all for it. Personally I need to use oil free moisturizer for my face.
1. You should pretty much always use moisturizer, though you may find you don't need as much, or might want to switch to a lighter one when it gets warmer. The moisturizer may have oils in it, but it should be ';non-comedogenic';. Not all oils cause breakouts.

2. Cold weather can be very drying. Cold weather/wind and indoor heating both suck moisture out of the skin really quickly.

3. Oiliness usually decreases with age, but it depends on your genetics.

4. I have dealt with oily skin pretty much my entire life so far. I always use a moisturizer with spf during the day, and one with retinol at night. I think my skin looks great for my age. I just moved to Denver from LA and I noticed my skin got a lot drier, especially my legs, hands, and feet.
