Is there any kind of product or home remedy that you've used that has helped your oily skin? I wash my face twice a day, sometimes use astringents, use a mask once a week and exfoliators...my skin is nice and acne free because of all the work I put into it, but after a hour or so after applying my makeup it looks like I need to refresh my face powder because I'm already starting to shine. I carry around the oily skin wipes to help...I know that's just how my skin is, and I'm just looking to maybe to reduce the times I have to whip out my powder or the whips. I'm just afraid I'll be driving in my car, and the sun will reflect off my oily forehead and cause an accident, haha. It's not that serious, but if anyone has any suggestion, that would be nice!
Thanks in advance. ;]For those with oily skin, help!?
AHAHAHA shiney face cause an accident!
my face glows in the dark %26gt;.%26lt;
well if your face is nice and acne free.... i dunno why you should change what your doing, its working fine... change products and you could ruin ur nice complexion.
but yeah, if you wanna reduce the oil on you face, you just gotta watch your diet.
every body needs a different diet that suits them best, there is no single balanced diet coz everybody is sooo different.
most doctors just tel you what you already know for your diet, its like trying to make a one size fits all diet for everybody which is stupid.
if you wanna know exactly what is best for your diet and your skin, i suggest you see an eastern medicine oriental doctor... they do some wierd tricks on you and tell you exactly what you gotta eat for you body, specifically. you wil be surprised they even can figure out your personality!! ^^For those with oily skin, help!?
wash your face with tea tree oil. its a natural astringent and it keeps me shine-free for almost the whole day. its really great.
Herbs.. go to your healthfood store and asked the one there that knowledgable in the herbs or go to
your local Herbalist or Naturopath! I'm now charging for much herbal info I useto give free on this yahoo!
Give the Neutrogena Oil control products a try. Also, they make a great oil control astringent. I've had oily skin all of my life, and as any dermatologist will tell you, you can somewhat control oily skin, but you can never totally eliminate it. Good luck!
Ummmm... Hi,
first of all what treatment do you use?
secondly, please dont switch treatments cos it makes your skin more oily and your skin doesnt know which chemicals your going to use.
1. try using WATER, and NO chemicals but dont use TOO much water for at least 2 weeks.
p.s: if your going to use water dont SCRUB it makes your pimples/acne worse.
2. drinks lots of water at least 2 litres daily, always drink lots of water!!!
3. dont eat JUNK food. because the sweets you are eating and etc makes your skin worse. e.g eating chips has alot of oil and etc, the oils you eat are the oils that appear to your skin (face) which prevents pimples. so dont eat junk, ONLY sometimes but NOT all the time!!!!!!
4. importanly DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE makes it more OILY and creates MORE pimples.
and get some sleep
BUT if these 4 things dont work
then you should see your doctor.
thats all
toodles!
well you could try using nutrogena
their skin care products are great for oily skin.you could also try Olay.good luck
