Some questions about makeup for oily skin?

i need some help lol

i have oily skin in the t-zone area and some acne scars on my forehead too.. but my cheeks are soft and dry.

so would putting on a mattifier then a mineral foundation over my forehead and nose be effective? is it weird if i leave my cheeks natural and put makeup only on my tzone? would it make my skin tone look uneven? and, would it be better to just replace the mineral foundation with translucent powder?

i'm tired of liquid foundation, it breaks me out. :(

please answer, it would help a ton. Some questions about makeup for oily skin?
negative on the mac AND bare minerals.

mac...to heavy...bare minerals...blah oxidizes a WEIRD color..well on my face %26amp; its too expensive for a small jar.

so..

if you're not rly tryna hide anything but the oil i would suggest the mattifier and the translucent powder.drugstore..almay powder is good

if you're tryna hide the scars i would suggest the mattifier and i would go with a powder concealer that way you can blend it all out to look even. but i would even use the mineral foundation all on my face.

i dont use drugstore mineral powder except when i run out of everydayminerals i use physicians formula mineral wear and i like it just as well.

if you want to try a cream concealer on ur scars blend it out rly well n then use a mineral or translucent powder over ur face.

and i do find it weird u want to leave ur cheeks natural.lol. but if u insist i say go with the first thing i said n use the mattifier and translucent that way ur face isnt discolored in ur T-zoneSome questions about makeup for oily skin?
