Any advice or tips for oily skin?

Throughout the day I'm always powdering my t-zone as it tends to get very oily and therefore makes my foundation come off on my finger if I was to touch my face. But the problem is that by the end of the day my skin tends to look like it has more make up on than it did at the start of the day since I've applied to much powder. I don't know if a primer would solve this problem? I've heard of those little blotting pads but do they not take off some make up when you use them?Any advice or tips for oily skin?
i use clean and clear blotting pads. they don't take off my makeup just the oil. By applying powder over and over again on your face you are clogging up your pores. Once or twice is enough.Any advice or tips for oily skin?
Make sure you are using a foundation suitable for oily skin, I like Revlon Colourstay. It keeps me matte for most of the day.

Yes I think a primer would help. I would suggest getting the GOSH one as it is meant to be good for oily skin.

With the blotting sheets, you can get ones that are slightly powdered. But it shouldn't be a problem as you are just meant to press them on, not rub them into your skin.

It also helps to use a good oil free moisturiser before applying make-up. Moisturising is actually one of the best things you can do for oily skin, as long as it's oil free.

Good luck :)
Try using a face mask or face toner which is clay based as this will absorb the oily parts and make your skin soft and radiant.

Those blotting pads are ok but fiddly
use mineral fundtion
The blotting pads do take off a little of the make up, but still worth while using. Take heart - at least you will not have a creased skin when you are old and grey.
go to body shop and they will give you so many good items for oilly skin..and if you have other problems as well..ther really goood
try face masks and washing your face every morning
Wash...

Your body sweats to cool you down. Don't get so hot. There arn't any magic remidies that will work. You'll just end up wasting loads of money.

-EDIT-

I didn't say you didn't wash. I meant more reguarly.
1. invest really good skincare. trying to make your face and balancing it out with makeup does not help when you invest in good skincare you invest in good skin and when you invest in good skin there is no need for the foundation concealer and powder and im not saying that you use those things cause i dont know if you do or dont but im just saying

2.i personally like cetaphil im african american as you can tell by my avatar and using cetaphil really helped my oily skin so trust me i understand the constant powdering and washing and what not

3.cetaphil has a whole line of skin care from moisturizer -yes!! you may think that using a moisturizer is not needed for your skin cause you have oily skin. but this is a proven fact when you dont moisturize your face tends to notice it and realize it and produce more oil to make up for the moisturizer that you didnt put on which will make you that more greasier and oiler

4.lay off the powder a little bit... if you do wear makeup alot try to lay off of it a while and use your skincare often

5.wash your face day and night

6. always take your makeup off even if you just have eyeliner off

7. always wash face in the morning and night no matter what

8. invest in some good oil absorbing sheets these sheets can absorb oil without removing your makeup and messing it up

9. if you do want to use powder i would suggest using the mac oil absorbing powder but if you dont wanna spend that much money on a powder then i would suggest the maybelline powder

10.DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE usually you are out and about or even you are at the house and you constantly touch stuff and then putting your fingers onto your face that causes bacteria to be transferred onto your skin break it out and making the problem worse. you dont wanna have oily skin and red bumps
