Make-up for acne and oily skin??

what foundation and/or powder should i use for my skin??Make-up for acne and oily skin??
WEAR FOUNDATION that is acne freeMake-up for acne and oily skin??
try physicians formula it has special ingredients that help cure acne and/or oily skin unlike other pore cloging and oil based make-up
i have the same problem, and clinique works well. It's so lightweight that my skin was able to heal.
covergirl doesnt make ur skin oily or nething at least not for me
Some foundations have salistic acid in it. But thing bad thing is it will drain it. And that is discusting. Bare Minerals is all natural. It not only cover it up but will not clog your pores. It is great but it can become pricey.U can basically use anything on your skin. It like Maybelline's Dream Mousse that will cover them up slightly mixed with a little lotion.

Oily skin I don't know. Just carry around oil blotting sheets, paper towels, and loose powder
Don't use foundation.

Instead, get an oil-free concealer from a company that makes oil-free, non-comedogenic products (It's worth extra money to get Clinique or MAC).

Then, MAC makes a terrific powder that will conceal. I promise, you'll feel like you have foundation on. It's called Studio Fix.

Dot the concealer on, and then use a brush to apply powder. You'll get full coverage but your skin will thank you by clearing up and staying that way.
Clean %26amp; Clear makeup
Expensive, but it works wonders...

Acne Free, by University Medical.
get the covergirl foundation w/ the blue lid thats what i use and its not as greasy as any others
You should start with a acne clearing product like clean and clear or clearasil ultra. Use that for a couple of months without any foundation or powder. Then you should use any OIL-FREE foudation at walmart (all brands work equally well)

These are what I bought....

Clean and Clear's (or any brand) powder for oily skin (@walmart) it looks blue but it goes on clear

Also, there are these new things that you just wipe on your face and they remove excess oil.

These are good because they don't cause any irritation and don't dry out your skin!

Check In the skin care section of Walmart for the oil removers

And in the make up section for the powders and foundations
Cover Girl ';fresh look'; is oil free, has an SPF of 15, and stays put for hours.
When you go down the beauty aisle in any store, look at foundations specifically made for oily complexions (oily=acne, so you don't have to look at ones that say acne cause oily covers that) Once you've tried it to make sure that it matches your skin color, (try it on your wrist to match your skin) then make sure to get a powder. Powder is as important for your skin type as the foundation and I'll tell you why. Lightly dust the powder onto your face with a powder brush. This sets your makeup and will help absorb any oils. Since you do have oily skin, powder is especially important, unless you don't mind ';oil-slicks'; throughout the day! Good luck, and you'll look beautiful! Go gurl!
go to sephora and try the Bare Minerals brand (Bare Escentuals is the same thing)...have someone that works there apply it the first time so that they can find the right color for your skin. it is really amazing how well it works!
Hi gal, if it's oily, it will forever oily. I have live for 26 years on oily skin no many how expensive my make up are for oily skin. But I heard oily face make one's face less wrinkle as they age. That's the good news!
Forget all that junk those people just listed. You want something that doesn't have chemicals you can't pronounce in it. Use Bare Escentuals - all natural make up and it's light. Don't use that liquid crap. OMG, it clogs your pores and you look like you're dead after having to cake it on to hide acne. TRUST ME I wish I had bare escentuals when I was younger...all that Revlon, brand crap really ruined my skin. Bare escentuals ALL THE WAY girl !!! I also use Acne Free - you need salycic acid to kill acne. All that soapy cleanser and junk is not good for your skin. Acne Free - you can buy it at Costco for a good price.
